Barkway Non-Ecclesiastical Trust

The Barkway
Non-Ecclesiastical Trust was established in 1907 for the residents of
the Parish of Barkway. Help is available in the form of small grants and
loans to those in financial need or with unexpected financial burdens in
the villages of Barkway and Nuthampstead. The charity can help
individuals with the provision of essential household items, payment for
services, hospital visits and other such expenses. Applications are
considered on a case by case basis by a board of trustees, which meets
three times a year and each case is handled in the strictest confidence.
