Playgroup

Barkway playgroup is a small non-profit making organisation, run by qualified staff along with a management committee comprising of parents with children in attendance or that have an interest in the group. All those involved are CRB checked.

We aim to provide an enabling environment to help children build positive relationships, learn and develop through a range of activities covering all areas of learning, and prepare them for the next stage in their education.

The start of the new term is upon us and all of the staff have been very busy planning lots of fun activities. We have lots of new children starting in the following months and we look forward to getting to know them and their families.

As mentioned previously, we are also starting our extended sessions until 1pm, which are available to all of the children who attend playgroup. During this extended session children will be enjoying a home packed lunch with both their friends and the staff. If you are interested in your child attending playgroup, please contact me on the number below.

Mother and Toddler group returns on Wednesday 9^th September. For those who have not attended before, we meet at Barkway Village Hall every Wednesday from 9.45am to 11.14am. Come along for an informal get together where the children can play and parents can chat. Snack and drinks are provided. The group offers new and expectant mums a chance to meet up and get to know each other whilst your child has fun learning through play, stories and singing.
